Abstract:
From my research on the legal and ethical aspects of AI, robotics and IoT I can confirm the urgent need to respond to the lack of diversity and to improve the impact of academic research by looking at how knowledge is created and shared. In response to the call to contribute to the further development of arts-based research by sharing experiences, I would like to take this opportunity to share for discussion one of my research projects on proposing possible 'unmanned futures' and how to regulate human-machine interactions where robots may cause harm. Through a performance, group exhibition and workshops I have been able to gain insights into human-AI interaction to help improve my insights and recommendations for policy and industry. Let's discuss possible futures for AI more nuanced and beneficial for understanding and share this through the creation of an AR Walk through Cholula for the community and public.
