The Stanford Existential Risks Initiative (SERI) offers a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship starting September, 2024. Risks we address include extreme climate change, nuclear war/winter, pandemics, emerging technologies such as synthetic biology and artificial intelligence. These postdocs are 70% research, 30% teaching. Application deadline: December 6, 2023.
