Job Summary
The School of History and Sociology (hsoc.gatech.edu) at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia invites applications for a tenured faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor in Sociology of Science, Technology, or Medicine, with a focus on Gender, Race, and/or Ethnicity. Candidates are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students, particularly in the School's graduate program in the History and Sociology of Technology and Science, as well as its undergraduate major and minors, especially Women, Science, and Technology.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach two courses per semester, advise and mentor graduate students, maintain an active research agenda, and engage in professional service at Georgia Tech. The position will begin in August 2026.
